Diriyah Gate Creative Offices
Diriyah Gate Creative Office (Site 2) sits at the edge of the Western Ring Road, establishing a bold and highly visible presence within Diriyah Gate II. Designed as a hub for retail and digital media, the building supports everyday community life while advancing broader civic goals. Its location along key roadways ensures both prominence and accessibility, positioning it as a key anchor within the district.
The design carefully balances form and function, drawing on local architectural traditions while reinterpreting them for a contemporary commercial context. Terraces, shaded walkways, and well-defined street edges create comfortable and welcoming public spaces, while integrated LED façades provide a dynamic platform for cultural expression and civic communication.
Sustainability underpins the project with a pragmatic focus on reducing energy use and enhancing occupant comfort through integrated systems. Public areas are intuitive and easy to navigate, offering places to gather, rest, and connect informally. As part of the Media Innovation & Civic Quarter, Site 2 reinforces the district’s vision of progressive urbanism grounded in the cultural and architectural heritage of Diriyah.
This project is the result of a collaborative partnership between WTARCH and Brooks + Scarpa. The development is further supported by a multidisciplinary team of consultants, including Atelier Ten, IA Interior Architects, Thornton Tomasetti, Integral Group, Tina Chee Landscape Studio, and Omgivning
