This existing lot located on a hillside in Silver Lake will be transformed into 3 separate parcels, each with a new single-family dwelling. The exterior cladding of standing seam metal, stucco, and wood surfaces produces a distinct contrast that accentuates the volumetric massing of each proposed structure. Each of the structures borrow the iconic form of the conventional pitched roof. While challenging the traditional forms with steep pitches, this formal study incorporates the roof set backs and numerous other design requirements from specific design standards for Small Lot Subdivisions.
